Singer Irakli Pirtskhalava, known for his performances on the project "Star Factory 2", spoke about the beating of another participant of the show Mikhail Grebenshchikov . The corresponding post appeared on his Instagram page ( a social network banned in Russia; belongs to the Meta company, recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation ).
"I simply stopped an impudent drug addict who was smoking in a public place. Who was rude to me when I made a remark to him," Pirtskhalava said.
The performer of the hit "London-Paris" noted that he considers his actions to be wrong from the point of view of the law, but correct "as a man and as a human being." He emphasized that the incident will be a lesson for him.
"Please don't nationalize this issue. I am Georgian, but I was born in Moscow ," the artist added.
The incident became known on August 7. A Moscow court fined Pirtskhalava 15,000 rubles for assault. According to Grebenshchikov, his opponent made several offensive statements about the organizers of the Art-Football football and music festival, as well as the Russian national team , to which Grebenshchikov tried to laugh it off. After that, an altercation ensued.
